Cue The Nostalgia

Classroom that I visited everyday,
Still so fresh in my head,
Are all the hustle and bustle of the class,
Creaking furniture, whispering classmates,
Lectures of the teachers, ticking of the clock,
Tick-tock, tick-tock,
It flew by so quickly,
My time at what I believed ,
Was my second home, school.
What hurts me the most,
Is that I never got closure,
To all my years in school.
It started with jolly ride,
And ended over a zoom call.
What has life come to?
14 years of my life came to an end,
With the click of a 'ending meeting' button.
But I have no choice,
I'll have to pick up the pieces,
And step into a new phase of life.
But I do have something to say,
To the countless days i spent at school,
"You are my hardest goodbye".
