Hues Of Time
World of the present,
Seems nothing like the world of the past.
This spilt second in the sea time
Is filled with monochrome coldness,
But highlighting the shades of time is this world's prowess.
What might seem dull at the moment,
Will light up with a tiny spark,
Spreading the light of hope and joy,
In the masses who've had hundreds of sleepless nights;
Sinking low with the weight of their aching souls.
Their gazing eyes will fill up with colours again,
A day will come, with an end to all this pain.
The winter might seem harsh at this moment,
But no season is eternal,
The night is always the darkest
Before the first light of dawn.
Just like that,
Our cold and dark winter will come to an end,
The flowers of spring will blossom once again
Just hold on a little longer,
Our spring day is just around the corner.
